just an update...here is what I cut off. they look pretty good considering that most I simply lopped the heads off yesterday.
no signs left in any of them. UI did of course just toss the rest, but if that is the end of it and I dont see it again I am ok with it.
cant get furan locally, so I will be ordering it today just in case
