PPE naming gone Crazy!!!

I dont know if everyone sees certain frag sites and ebay auctions. But people are Calling everything PPE even though the polyp does not contain purple or the Green mouth to call it a People Eater and it drives me nuts. I guess people are trying to rip the newbies off and make a couple of bucks. Sorry just had to vent .

yeah i have noticed that to. Almost every ebay auction that i look at has PPE in the title. It is very anoying. I sometimes wish that i could post on thier auction that these are not PPE. But that is the way ebay is, thier is know governing what people call or say what thier zoas are one Ebay. Ben

yeah i know. this is so sad people are trying to profit off of gullability of others, but at the same time...remember darwins theory.

the thing thats even worse, if people buy something that was sold to them as PPE, they will beleive it, and turn around and frag it, then sell it as PPE even though its not.

some business people's ethics are completely clouded by the vision of dollar signs (that goes for buyers and sellers).

lets not forget color altering.. It is happening everywhere.. i can get over the names, as thats all it is - a name. If people arent researching what their buying, too bad. But when someone is shopping the colors and making everything blue or whatever the "fad" color is, than noone is safe... not even those who know what they are looking at...

"People Eater" is used to describe a particular type of green slit in the center of a polyp.

It's like saying a zebra has black stripes to me...

Of course, I would be even more supportive of this if I was making a killing on it.

Thats what I said above the Green mouth to Call it "People Eater". But also I stated that there are some zoos on the sites that call a green or orange zoo a PPE.
