Ppe questions

sorry to ask i tried searching but mostly just forsale ads were delivered.Just wondering what kind of lighting these require? i put a frag in my tank last friday and a shaded area and the polyps still have not opened. they are not melting yet but i was debating giving them a dip in revive.

Lighting is 6 bulb ATI sunpower mix of blueplus and aqua blue bulbs and a fiji pink. tank is 20" deep and again the frag is not in direct light (shaded under an overhang.

Shaded area should be find or on the sand bed. I'd dip them in furan2. I've had great results with that.

My Purple Deaths are doing well directly under 4 T5s in a 12" deep tank. No shading.

These can take direct light. They are one of the slowest growers I have.

I would place them low in the tank, but in direct light. Also, make sure they have plenty of flow.

I keep them in the lower section of the tank, they can take some light. I have noticed on the days with longer light the are easily upset and stay closed the next day.
