I bought this a long time ago. Bought it as PPE but the color was brown. This is what it looks like now after a long freaking time. Hopefully the color will improve. :(

:D Sure Mr. Ugly :D .. Give it another month or so. I have about 10 polyps now. You have some really nice zoo that I would like to get some. Too bad you don't sell ..

What are those white stuff around the mouthes? Whether or not they might be "true" PPEs they look nice, I've seen 1 in person and it was huge, probably the size of a nickle to a quarter around. I'd be happy with the color though :)

Heheh... yeah, I'm not in it for the money. Like I could sell $10 frags, I suppose. But what does $10 get me? Not a whole lot. Certainly not any cool corals :) Geez, a tank of gas is like $50, y'know? So I mostly just trade or give away :)

Come on over when you're ready and pick out some stuff :)

Mike, some PE types can get speckled or stardust type markings, supposedly due to bright lighting.

I've seen zoa people comment about not liking the speckles, but I think they're neat, myself. Supposedly, you can make them go away by shading the polyps a bit.

Norman, They are not from Frank. He didn't have PPE at the time I got them.

Mike,
The white dots around the mouth is normal for PPE. They were like that I got them. I think when they don't have enough light they develop the white dots around the mouth. The polyp are big. They are about the size of a dime. I don't think these are from the original PPE colony.

hehehe Norman.. Are you sure they develop the dot/speckles when they have too much light?? :D I was thinking the other way.

That's what people have been saying on the zoa forum, and some people posted before and after pics on that issue too. Though the speckles on theirs where spread across the surface, and not centered around the mouth.

Frag now and test. Then give me the one you think is uglier, haha :)

Nobody doesn't like SaraLee :)

Heh, I like speckled zoas.

Here's my list of future t-shirt slogans...

"All Your Speckled Zoas Are Belong to Us!"
"Got Frag?"
"No Frags For You!"
"Will Work for Frags" (like we don't already :) )

These will be my Cafe Press Limited Edition Auction t-shirts :)
