Man i have been looking for ppe's for a long time. does anyone have any left?

I can't wait to see Marvs results. I had mine up top under 150w MH and they started to lighten so I moved them to the bottom and have "cured", much purpler.. =))

If you're talking about this pic, its a Dendro Frag... Oh, and JGos, you can kinda make out an updated pic of my war coral on the right... lol Been a bit too busy to take a new one...

The warcoral was the first thing I noticed in that pic.

Well with all of this talk about PPE I found some locally but its a little bit of a different morph. It has the stripes underneath which make me believe its a giagantus but the skirt isnt green

What do you guys think? (i'll get a better pic with a better camera later but this is the best one I got with my point and shoot- and score a snake polyp in with the bunch)

it's the more common morph of RPE's... nice pick up..

Yeah, I like most all PE's... Any is a welcome addition into my tank...

I didn't realize there was a morph of RPEs with purple center and brown skirts? Granted that pic is awful and I should get one with my better camera. Looks like the ones in the pics above in person but without the green skirt ><

Next to my RPEs? look nothing alike. so weird. See why this is confusing and frustrating?

chrisstie, there are some all purple pe's...hmmm, I mean PPE's that are all purple, theres brown ones, and then the PRPE's which in drifferent morphs they look like RPE's. PPE's are green skirted with the green slit mouths though. The all purple ones with the green mouth are commons...I got those too.

Here is a picture of our PPE before they morphed, they had been moved from our 75gallon that had 150watt MH's to my new tank with 400Watt MH's

First Picture was taken on: 1/13/2007
