Prazi-Pro is SPS Tank

I noticed a few older posts here on RC about using Prazi-Pro in a reef tank with no ill-effects to SPS corals but was wondering if anyone has done it recently?

I have 30 SPS in my 90G which is now fully stocked and I recently noticed one of my wrasses may have internal parasites. I did QT him and treated with Prazi then but didn't dose a second round since he was stressed from the first treatment and didn't show any signs that would require a second round.

Anyone with experience dosing it? If so, did you do a large water change after the 5-7 day dose period?

I have heard on several occasions that Prazi-Pro is reef safe (the only med that I can think of that is, personally). On the other hand and in my personal experience, I have never seen PraziPro cause any stress on a fish what so ever. Maybe it was the flukes/worms in the first place that you saw causing the stress?

I dosed prazi pro in my reef tank to treat my leopard wrasses when I first got them a year ago. No ill effects on my reef tank that I noticed.

Thanks for the feedback aandfsoccr04, I'm assuming you had SPS in there? Also, what % water change did you do when the treatment was finished?

I was also looking into using this product in my reef tank to treat my vermiculate wrasse. I was told it would kill off inverts...is this true? I read label, and it only warns about feather dusters and ornamental worms.

I used the interceptor recently with praziquantel in it... it is the same med that is in prazi-pro, no ill effects to the corals.
