prazipro or Genral Cure??

What do you think is better
Prazipro from Ikari or General Cure from API..

Prazipro Ingredients: oxybispropanol (as an inert solubilizing agent) and <5% praziquantel by weight.

General Cure Ingredients: 250 mg Metronidazole and 75 mg Praziquantel

Presuming you have a worm problem, PraziPro is going to be much more effective, dollar-for-dollar.

API's medication line is quite expensive, though convenient. It also seems tailored for the "shotgun" approach to medication - not quite sure what we've got or how to treat it, so let's hit it with everything and see what happens.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of that. :)

The API General Cure is two medications combined because they each treat internal parasites, but neither one will kill ALL internal parasites. Together they cover a broader range of parasites.

The downside of using metronidazole, particularly as a bath, is that it is both very hard on the kidneys and a medicine that really should be fed to the fish as medicated food.

Because prazi by itself is safer and generally effective, many people choose to use it alone.
