Prazipro Vs Hypo

After 2 treatments of PraziPro in my 40 Gallon QT my firefish are still scratching and scraping. I also have 6 anthias and the are starting to scratch. Is Hypo salinity a better way of killing flukes? I also did a 6 week treatment with Cupramine before Prazi. I do have experience with Hypo just not sure how the Firefish and Anthias will handle it. I did a freshwater dip on one of the anthias and soon learned that they can not handle it. Died in 2 mins.

Anthias can be pretty fragile, but I have FW dipped a red and a purple firefish for flukes and they were fine.

Since you've treated for awhile now, is it possible that flukes aren't the cause? IME, Prazipro works fairly quickly (like after two days).

Try de-los by nat'l fish pharm...Its tough on the fish-buts its the only thing that really eradicates these new super resistant flukes...

Hypo is only really good for ich so unless you know for sure it is ich and not something else skip the hypo. As stated above are you sure about the copper concentration and are you sure it is flukes? I'd first do a FW dip and if nothing falls off assume it is something else and re-dose copper and check concentration levels. You can easily check your copper test kit by adding 1ml of Cupramine to 5 gallons of saltwater, which should give you 0.5 ppm.

How far apart did you do the Prazi treatments? Did they still scratch right after the Prazi or a couple of days or a week after?
