pre-aerating RO/DI water. Setup?

Greetings.

I have a 2-stage RO/DI setup (2 RO membranes) with dual DI chambers. The problem is that our well water, while blissfully low in sediment, has high levels of CO2 that is burning through my DI media like crazy! I might only get 50 gallons of water per single DI membrane before it is all exhausted.

After some inquiry, I got the suggestion of pre-aerating my source water. Has anyone done this and if so, any suggestions for setup? I do have a pump to feed the system.

Was thinking of a dosing canister of some sort with a float valve.

Ideas? Suggestions?

Thanks ahead of time.

I had the same problem......

, to solve I install a storage tank between the osmosis plant and the DI canister. In the storage tank I put a maxiJet with a ventuari to aerate the osmosis water. Then with a small aqualifter feed a SilicaBuster + maxCap DI. Previously the DI resin did not last more than 100 gallons, now I produce more that 1,200 gallons.

This is a good way to do it.
