Precision Clarity Tank

We would be so very grateful to anyone who could help us. We were one of the last few to get our 540 tank from Mike at Precision Clarity last year. After months of waiting thinking that we had lost our money it came. It didn't have the black back we payed for and it wasn't 1" thick everywhere but we were so grateful to have gotten it we agreed to let that go. We found out to late about all the worries on seams failing so we let our tank sit empty for over 30 days. We then let it sit with just water in it for almost 3 months and it was fine. We started stocking it last November and this month we are hosting our clubs meeting here so that we can share our dream with everyone. That was the plan until yesterday when we got up and found the tank empty and everything dry. The pumps, tunzes, ect were still running, the sump and refugium had all the heaters in there so that water was hot. My rosies that I've had for 8 years were melted and everything looked so bad. The front seam gave way shooting water all over everything in front of the tank and of course everything on the floor was soaked. All the pumps, chiller, ect got wet. Most of our fish were in one end that still had some water and seem to be ok so far. I just can't explain how much it hurts to walk down there and see whats left of that dream. We got the lifetime warrenty with our tank but if the company dissappears we're assuming it did to. We live in Oklahoma but would be willing to make the drive to Atlanta if we had an idea on where to go and who to look for. Does this company still exist or was it bought by someone else? If any one could help us out with any info that could help we would be forever grateful. Thanks much,
Phillip and Pamela

That's terrible. Sorry to hear it. :(

I checked the Better Business Bureau website (http://search.bbb.org/) and found Precision Clarity listed as having complaints. It has 2 listings under the same name, along with address and phone number.

Maybe check and see if you can contact them that way.

Good Luck! :)

Thank you Tang,
We have found an address for him at 200 Turner Blvd, Ball Ground, Ga. 30107 and a phone # but have not been able to make contact. If anyone lives in this area and wouldn't mind driving by this location and taking a look for us to see if he even has a shop there we would be forever grateful. Thank you,
Pamela

We just can't understand why after letting it sit for so long with nothing in it but water it would break now 3 months after stocking it.

Last I had heard he had opened a pet store up in the atlanta area. Do a search for precision clarity on here I remember seeing the post. I am sorry to here about your loss.

We've been trying that one already but not getting any response but appreciate your help anyway. Would anyone have a recommendation for a lawyer in the Atlanta area that we could contact for some legal advice? Thanks again, Pamela
