Found this bad guy on my neon goby - so just before I killed it I took some photos (they kill fish so I had to kill it).

For comparison how different an organism looks like under transmitted light as opposed to reflected light, the below two pictures were taken with a Canon 1DX + MP-E 65 + 600RT Flash at 3.5:1 and 5:1 magnifications:

His golden eyes freak me out a little. What causes reflected light to glow gold on his compound eyes?
 
I caught the goby with a net, placed it on paper towel that I pre-soaked with tank water, and the isopod jumped off when I tried to take the tweezers to it. I put the goby back in the tank and the isopod was ready for its fashion shoot before its execution shot.
