Looking for some expert advice on dipping new frags....any dips, meds that you use?

Bayer advanced if you can get it, i.e live in the US.

If not I can recommend Fauna Marin Ultra Pest Control.

I have used it a lot lately and it's effective and has yet to kill any smooth skinned Acropora for me.

I'm pretty happy with RPS all out. It's a little pricey for the amount you get but I haven't had issues with it with any corals and that piece of mind is worth paying a little extra. I do have some bayer I keep on hand in case I run out of RPS for whatever reason.

What is RPS?

I used to go the interceptor, iodine route. I've been pretty happy with the Bayer dip and would consider myself converted. :)

I bought mine at Menard's. I don't think they have those in St. Louis, but I'd check Lowe's and Home Depot.

Coral Rx for 3 years & have been pest free. But really I have to attribute my luck to buying/trading with only known collectors who have been pest free for years and still following a strict QT process. Can't substitute patience.

Another vote for bayer. Been using it ever since I got my first sps frag and have never had a death or infestation of any kind. One question. Anyone know if it expires? My bottle has no expiration date or storage instructions. I know many hobby specific dips have super short shelf lives.
