Pregnant ORA Sunrise Dottyback??

Can anyone tell me if this my ORA Sunrise Dottyback looks like it has eggs?

This is the only one with a belly and they are acting pretty weird. They are burrowing in the sand and dig holes which they really have not done before. I've got a total of 3.

If she has eggs, how long till she lays them? Anything that I can do to help the fry survive? Feeding?

I just read the book by Martin Moe about breeding Orchid Dottybacks. I bet that would be quite useful for you. Perhaps you could put a length of PVC pipe in for them to use as a "den" and then once/if the eggs are laid and fertilized you could pull it out right before hatch (if you chose to do so). I think in the book he fed rotifers to newly hatched fry the morning after the hatch. (They need to be moved to a separate tank after hatching for sure, with an airpump or something) Hope that helps (The book is called "Breeding the Orchid Dottyback: An Aquarist's Journal" by Martin A Moe, Jr.) By the way--your fish is beautiful.

yep, its pregnant, that happens when you have little groups like that and l have several laying pairs of it.

She will lay in 2 to 3 days and the eggs will hatch in 4-5 at 82 degrees.

The farvae eats rotifers but recreating the pleagic enviroment for them is quite difficult and I don't recomend it for the first time breeder, it could become very fruistrating.
