premium aquatic open?

I drove by Thursday and it seemed as though they still have not opened yet. I had heard the first week of Oct, but that has obviously not happened.

No one ever makes there deadline for opening, lol. My route to and from school takes me 30 seconds away from there, I am going to start to swing by there on my way home if I remember and you know I'll post if I see anything. Tom may know sooner then opening when it will be though.

I have heard tonight that today they have opened (today being the first day), and from what I have heard they have reasonable prices on some dry goods, and livestock. I have heard that they are slowly brining their saltwater section up to par as it cycles, but they do have some fish from what I gather. I would rather them take it slow and get a good setup going... rather than try to rush it and loose a lot. I will be driving by there tomorrow, and will report what I find out for sure.

It is opening up at the exact location that Newark Tropicals used to be located at.(not sure, but they may still be in the phone book) Not sure of the address, but they will be about two red lights to the East of the intersection of 4 and 72. It's located behind a Taco Bell in with a Grocery store and a Staples.

It is the chestnut hill shopping center at the intersection of Rt. 4 and marrows road. I drove by this morning, they were still closed (maybe they open at 10am) but all the paper was down from the windows and they sure do look like they are up and running. I will drive by again after work to visit the store.

I went this afternoon. It's looking to be a nice store. They have a good amount of quality dry good, nice freshwater selection, and good prices so far in the salt water section. The staff seems pretty knowledgeable, willing to help, and are very friendly. We'll see how well things are in a couple months from now when they start to order in the corals.

I'm excited we have a new LFS. If I had a qt tank set up I would have bought a couple fish today. Here is there address so people can find them. I also snapped a quick shot of the outside of the store on my way out with my cell phone.

I also went there this evening, there was alot of people there.. the place looks nice and really clean, the prices are very reasonable, there are no corals out yet just fish, its good that they are taking their time.
I bought a Sailfin Tang, BEAUTIFUL and also 2 fire fish also really nice.
can't wait for them to get corals out! Its nice to have a new place here, we really needed it. Check it out!

Sort of. I think the wood stands are the same and just about the same lay out of it all. He definitely replaced 90% of the plumbing or more and replaced most if not all of the tanks. The place is clean by any standard and if you saw Newark Tropicals the year before they closed you'll be shocked at how nice the place looks now. It is exciting.

I also went there last night, and was tempted to pick up a firefish as well, but decided to hold off as I am so paranoid about adding new fish without my QT Tank set up. I loved the clown tang they had, but it looked a little thin, and I don't think he would be good for my 90.
