Premium, need help finding the right skimmer! please help

I will be helping my neighbor place an order with you guys this week for his new 72 bowfront parts (powerheads, kits, uv, skimmer,etc). Only problem is that he is using a wet/dry 75 with his system (against my suggestion of using a custom sump w/ fuge and skimmer sections). He has no room in his wet/dry for the skimmer and either needs an external skimmer (must be easy to hookup and reasonably priced...less than 300 bucks) or at last resort a hangon skimmer. What do you guys recommend?? Please help.

I think and external skimmer would work well but it needs to be easy to use since he is a noobie and i dont want to be at his house daily for emergencies. I have a euroreef and love it but i dont know anything about external skimmers and it should be one that doesnt overflow too easily!!!

Thanks guys... first off i want to wish you well in your new endeavours and let you know that my euroreef i got from you guys is awesome and kepps my new tank params at 0 steady! In regards to the skimmer, i relayed the info to my neighbor and is thinking about it and should be ready to order all his equipment next week and when he asked me where to order i HIGHLY recommended you guys.
