Its my understanding that John L is the sole proprietor of reef central. He receives all funds from advertisements, sponsorships and donations(member support) that this website receives.

We had a double power outage with our hosting provider, the database did not take kindly to that, so the search tables got hosed (that's a technical term). Right now, the tables only have the last months worth of data in them, so it's limited.

We've got the tables fully rebuilt and will reload them to get the full search function back, but to do so will take a decent amount of scheduled downtime and the powers that be are working on that.

thanks---I guess I didn't notice that the search function wasn't going past a month
lol its hard enough keeping up on the new stuff :lol:

thank you I don't feel so bad now, that is the first post that I ever came out so strong against what some people were saying.

It's just nice to know you gave a little back to the site that's helped you out so much. That's why you give. And where does the money go to? Well it comes back to me in big ways, like information and saved time and money on products that aren't worth nuthin.
