Prepping fresh LR to remove pests

Is it possible to kill pest like algae\aptaisa\mojanos on fresh live rock without completely killing the rock? I am trying to aquascape my new 150g tank with Buna and was able to get 60 pounds of it dry, but cannot get more. Liverocknreef carries live buna but it has a whole bunch of crap on it that I don't want in my new tank. I would love to keep the coraline live in the process.

May be a prolonged soak in hydrogen peroxide or putting it submersed in a air tight container?

You can remove a lot of the pests like aiptasia and mojanos anemones by gouging them out, injecting them with vinegar, Joe's Juice... or covering them with kalk paste, but algae and trapped nitrates and phosphates really can't be removed without killing off everything on the rock.

Is it possible to dip the whole rock? I don't really care about anything on the surface or critters, just the coraline.
