Preserving rotifers

Hi!
I have now a very well establised culture of rotifers.
But since I lost this clutch of clowns eggs , what can I do with this amount of rotifers ?
It will be 3-4 weeks until I will need rotifers again (till clowns will lay again :headwalls:, tilll eggs will hatch :headwalls:....)
So, meanwhile, how can I preserve some rotifers ? Can I store them in the refrigerator ? I know that freezing them will kill them.....maybe refrigerate them can keep them alive for a while?

What´s wrong in keeping the cuture going in a "stay alive mode".Which means light feeding.

You can just funnel them into a 2 liter soda bottle (don't cap it with a lid) and add a few drops of Phyto to tent the water light green and put them in the frig. Half will die in 7 days in 14 days you will have 15% left.

Do it all the time and always keep some on vacation.
