Wish I knew how to post pics. Title says it all. Share your favorites. I think the one Dave burr from vivid aquariums is the coolest I've seen. Look up "vivid aquariums" on YouTube and watch the propagation vid or the feeding. It's a purple/green "magnificent sea anemone" as he calls it, aka ritteri anemone or mag. Post your thoughts!

Here's a good shot of my two rbta

Well, I have a few pics that I think are some of the prettiest. Since you like H. magnifica, here is one that I got at about 6" across. I sold it at about 14". It had a nasty habit of finding its way into powerheads(no matter how much I tried to protect them) and kill all the non-clownfish in my tank. After the second time, and after it completely recovered, I sold it.
When it was small, then just before I sold it.

This is my BTA. The clowns are akindynos. The color on this anemone varies from day to day depending on its mood and expansion. The tentacles can be pink or orange. The tips are always yellow. I have had it for about 6 years and it has never split, and I am not brave enough to cut it.

This is a gigantea carpet that you had to look close to appreciate it. The outer tentacle tips were purple. The inner tips were teal. I had this one for about a year and a half. I don't remember if I blamed this one's death on bad silversides, or chemical warfare with a H. crispa. I had two between 1.5 - 2 years.(The other was all purple)

I saved the most unique for last. I have never seen anything like it or even heard about anything like it. It was only about 2-3 inches across. When I bought it I thought it was just a purple gigantea. In a couple days after it relaxed a bit, I realized that it was a haddoni that had bright green tentacles with purple tips. A couple days after this pic was taken it disappeared never to be seen again. You can bet I pretty much torn the tank apart looking for it, but it was all for naught.

Very nice! Keep pics coming....I can't post pics since idk how to. For nems, I have 2 good size rbtas and a BIG sebae in my 120. ONE OF MY RBTAS HAS MOVED TO THE BACK AND IS PROBABLY 8-9" DURING DAYTIME! pretty crazy how he moved from front to back, but he's happy.

My favorite that I owned, this is a rbta I got from a local reefer (who was a TOTM). It was solid pink with a deer red body. Unfortunately this summer we had a bad storm and I lost power...when I was away on vacation. Came home...dead. Fish too.

Heres my sunburst next to my RBTA I just got recently. I was suprised it looked as good under my tank cause I only run 250w 14k, while they use LED which were more blue. Sorry for the bad pic it was taken with my cell phone.

I was searching the web and found a picture of this carpet. No information on this but it appears to be a healthy S. gigantea in a tank rather than in the wild. It is not my carpet but a picture I found at www.worldwidereefers.com. This color is so beautiful, I would kill for it.

Again It is not my carpet but a picture I found at www.worldwidereefers.com

Obviously I don't know enough about yours, but when mine up and move out of the blue, it's a good chance they are going to split. Just a thought!
