I see you have more issues, Did you find a specific type of pest? Or are you just looking to treat the whole tank? Have to tried any of the Dips we talked about, Revive, CoralRX and had some results?
It really sucks to see them looking like that Bart, Hope you get it all figured out and fast.

I am going to the critter this AM so I will get whatever they have. Are the brown lines flat worms? they move more like pods...they kinda run not squiggle (yes that is a word) like an earthworm. The dip I have, WM coral dip, does nothing. they run around and laugh at me after 8 min.

They don't look like flatworms to me. They could just be some kind of pod feeding on the dead tissue. I feel for you, I have been in the same boat before. Things dying off and you don't know why.:worried:

No they don't look like FW or Red Bugs but a better look in the dip bucket after you dip them will be more telling. Once you see if things start falling off the coral while it is in the dip those are what you want to look at under the magnifying glass the flatworms are almost translucent and can be very small up to a 1/4"+ The Red Bugs are like fleas that have a red head with yellow body under the Mag Glass. As far as Nudi's go that's a whole other topic.

yea, I spoke to Bart earlier. I think it is pods on it eating the dead tissue. when I dipped that Stylopora that was vanishing on me, that was all that fell off. no FW or anything....

we will be home friday afternoon? i am hope-in gfor no more unexplained RTN. I will dip everything that i can with revive and inspect the dip water.

Bart, we wont be home in the afternoon. we are leaving at around 1 to go to Mt Juliet. So you picked up some Revive? good deal. hope it works to get something off that you can inspect. form what ive read, you can dose it a little strong and it will be ok with the coral.

So Bart How goes the battle? Have you found anything that you can ID yet or still not sure what's going on? Let us know if you need more advice.
Bill

I have not found any bugs....not a....zero????? It looks like I will end up loosing four colonies when all is done, but no other corals are showing anything? params look good. i am clueless.

hey Bart I had the same thing happen to mine and then I thought everything was OK.took out of the tank but what ever was going on took out all my zoas so I am collecting all over again. Just starting slow to make sure things are ok. I did not loss my gigantis palys though. Let me know how it goes for you.
