Pro Clear Aquatics PUMP????????

I have a Pro Clear Aquatics MPS 350 protein skimmer that doesn't have a pump and was wondering if anyone knew what make/model it was or one that I could substitute so that I could get it up and running.

i ran a rio 3100 on one and did a good job or you can run a mag 12 but you will need to do some plumbing mods. hope this helps

Send them an e-mail, they helped me get the replacement pump for it, the pumps that comes with it are CAPs or go with the mag pumps, I don't trust rios. Good luck

From the picture, it looks like a Rio is the one they have hooked up to it.

the pump you need for it is a euro reef rs 80 skimmer

it comes with a free cylinder and collection cup only 179.99 at marine depot with free shipping. ....

hope you know i was kidding osiris4evr my first skimmer was a pro clear aquatics i think it had a rio 2100 pump though.

I have that skimmer and have a rio 2100 on it with a meshmod. It's twice the skimmer it was prior to the mod. It helped greatly but I need a bigger skimmer.

thats what i thought. the company seems to under drive the skimmers. mine came new with a 2700 for my first and after a year the pump took a dump i found a used 3100 rated at 990 gph and the skimmer worked twice as good. need to put a gate valve on the exit line to level the skimmer. works better than the riser tube and allows you to over power and produce more gph and air into the skimmer.
