PRO G3 upgrade path??

I have 3 G1 and was wondering if i upgrade to the g3 if the only change the light kit or also the fan !! The fan in the G1 sucks ... had severall problems !!

I believe the fan is part of the upgrade.

Yes it is part of the package!! I just received my unit back today!!!

I got my upgrade Tuesday. IMO, G3 Pro light is really nice. I will have to see how my corals, clams and anemones response to it long term. I hope the light will impart a lot of colors to the animals.

Did you have to pay anymore than 275 for the Pro G3 upgrade include the TIR lenses? I paid 275 but already have the TIR lenses.

I had the TIR lenses already and paid 275. I had asked Alex if there was a discount for already having them, but never heard the answer.

Come to think of it, I sent my gen 1 in for the upgrade to gen 3 and I already had a new set of wide angle lens that I put in the box with a note asking them to install them instead of the tir lens. I paid the full $175.

wait till gen 4 of radion then Asia will get it . if you cannot wait , change to a more customer oriented brand instead .

all I can say is WOW. Gen3pro is probably the best upgrade I have made as far as colors goes. We'll see how the growth is but DAMN. It's like I'm staring at a tank on High Definition.
