Probe Calibration

Hello,

Can anyone point me in the direction of a guide/s to calibrating the redox and conductivity probes for my profilux?

I have all the goodies, just nothing came with them.

Thanks,

Matt

This is one of the things that I wish that GHL would work on. The customer service by them and their distributorship is up in the top 5 of companies that I have ever delt with. However, the documentation that they include with their products is down right abysmal.
I'm at work so ill try to remember from memory how to do this to get you started. I'm sure that aqua digital will help you fill in any gaps I leave.
( this is for the connectivity probe)
1. Go to the sensor menu
2. Select calibration
3. It will ask you for the temperature that you want to reference for the probe ( often temp 1)
4. It will ask you the temp the 50ms fluid is at ( I float mine in the tank and just take the current reading of the tank temp probe but make sure you get this before you sart or you will have to start over)
5. I always rinse my probes in ro/DI between steps I would do this now and dab not rub with a lint free cloth
6. It will ask you to put the probe in the air and press enter and it will do it's thing
7. Rinse again
8. It wil then ask you to put it into the 50ms fluid which you do and hit enter.
9. after it's done it will ask you to save which you then do.
10. I always leave the probe in the solution so make sure that the cal took as it should.

Hi guys,

This is all in the hard copy manual and i would say the clearest part of the manual also

redox page 23
salinity page 26

I will ask GHL to put the full version of the manual online for everyone

Bit hard to reference this so called hard copy manual when you don't get sent one after spending thousands of dollars on the controller. I would like to think that this would have been available already online.

There are too many conflicting how to's for calibrating these probes.

I will have to do some more searching as I need this done ASAP.

It is online

The reason the manual is available online and not in complete form with the controller is due to the constant changing functionality of the product, imagine the cost and huge waste of resources if new manuals had to be prinited monthly.

Lets just say GHL doing its bit to reduce their carbon footprint. ;)
