Problem macro algae - help!

Hi, I'm hoping someone can give me some advice on whether I should be worried about the algae (see pics attached) - I don't like it as it covers the liverock and looks bad (IMO).

I use RO water from Culligan, and the phospates test at 0. Other than a low-alkalinity battle i'm having, all other paramaters are great.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

FWIW I like the look of the little bushy ones. The big bushy ones...not my thing either.

Do you have a refugium you can put them in?
Any herbivores in the tank?

No, no refugium. I've got a fox-face and a chocolate tang that nibble on the stuff but there's no way they're going to mow it all down.

The purple stuff is almost impossible to pull out, too.
