Problem
Problem
Well it is definitely not the cable. I switched it out and it had no effect at all. But when I switch the cable AND the driver to another pump, the problem shows up on the new pump. Any pump connected to the faulty driver stays on continuously and does not respond to any settings on the controller.
Here is my configuration:
4 - 6100 Streams
7094 Controller
The pumps are connected as follows:
Pump1: Channel 1, > position
Pump2: Channel 1, < position
Pump3: Channel 2, > position
Pump4: Channel 2, < position
They are placed in my aquarium as follows
Pump1 Pump2 Pump3 Pump4
The settings on the controller are as follows:
Channel 1 Min Power = 30 %
Channel 1 Miax Power = 100%
Channel 2 Min Power = 30%
Channel 2 Max Power = 100%
Pulse Knob Setting: Midway between off and Max
Interval Switch Setting: 1 to 7 Minutes (the lowest position)
Interval Knob Position: Minimum
Mode Switch Setting: >> << (the top most position)
I have been running the pumps this way for the last few years without any problem. Recently however, I moved the controller into a DIY holder. Seems like teh problem started then. Also, when I move the controller around, Pump #2 exhibits the same behavior! It stays on continuously. Can this happen as a result of the connectors on the controller being moved or pulled slightly?
I really want to get this fixed as soon as possible, but not sure what to do?

I have not seen that before, are you sure it was not the cable? If you swithed the cable as well I would suspect the cable from the controller to the driver this is the usual culprit. [/QUOTE]
