Problem with 6201

I just received my 6201 yesterday. It didn't think much about it when it didn't start right away when I plugged it in to my 7095 controller, but after a minute it took off. Well sometime during the night it shut down and this morning I can't get it to start. All it does is occasionally twitch on then immediately shut down. I tried cycling power and another port on the controller, no luck. Also took it apart and checked the prop, it spins freely. I know the controller is ok my old 6200 works fine, plus shouldn't the stream run at full speed if not connected to the controller? Any thing else I should try, the manual doesn't really say anything other than cycle power.

It sounds like it is stuck in fish care mod I have not had any first hand experience with the new 6201 we have not received any as yet first shipment this week, I will leave this one for Roger he may have some info or experience.

Try running it with no controller. I agree with Grame, it is in Fish Care mode, if it has a loose connection to the controller or it is off in Interval mode this would be what it should do. You might also check the magnet of the prop assembly for hairline cracks.

I just tried it, I unplugged power, then disconnected it from the controller, when I plugged power back in it turned on for a few seconds then stopped. Now it appears to be back in fish care mode, I tried cycling power again and it still is in fish care mode. I inspected the magnet and prop assembly, I don't see any cracks.
