Ok I have two zoos that are not looking to hot the last few days. I have maybe 50 types of zoos in my tank and these two have issues. I took them out of the tank nothing on them never had a issue with nubis. I just did all my test the everything is dead on expect Cal was at 360 never had been that low. I will post some pics. I did dip the red zoo last night.

I have this happening also to 1 of my zoo colonies, only a small portion of them are closed up like that and the others are OK.

Yeah, I just noticed it a couple of days ago.
I won't be able to check on them until after work

All heresay but it's said that sometimes a specific colony will close for 3-5 days to expel waste and get optimal health, then reopen.

Could just be that; but I've never had that happen...

Well folks I have the same problem. I believe it is Nudi's so I have taken all of mine out and dipped them. I have them in quarantine. I have a thread going here also.

I have look up and down and I dont see any. I look everynight. I also have took them out of the tank under stronge light nothing. I have never seen one in my tank. Any other ideas guys?

It looks like they have a lot of junk that has settled around the polyps, have you tried cleaning them off with flow from a powerhead or a turkey baster? Also, the light may be another factor. Have you changed their position in the tank recently? What about fish? Added any new fish or inverts that might be partial to these zoas? I have hermits that inexplicably rest on the same zoa colonies time after time and it irritates the zoas. Keep us updated!

I have added Emerald Crabs 5 of them. 2 died I have no idea why? I caught one last night put it in the fuge, I was thing maybe it was them. I have basted them and took them out and clean them.

I checked mine when I went home and some of the ones that were closed are now open, so I think they they went through some sort of "cleaning" or something to that nature.

No nudis, snails, or anything vivsible on my zoos.
