I have a new probe that calibrates fine on sensitivity level 1, however, when I complete and save the calibration the reading is all over the board. Even when I inset the null plug, the reading goes up to 5mV and then down to -1mV and then back up to 5 and gain and again. When I place the probe in the GHL calibration fluid after saving it goes to over 650mV and then down to 420 and then up again. When I place the probe in a fresh sample of 400mV it reads 999 and then drops to below 700 and then back up. This is very strange. When I place the freshly calibrated probe back into the aquarium, it reads -999.
Any thoughts? The probe has been in the tank for 1 month prior to calibration while I was waiting for the calibration fluid. I have tried placing the probe in a glass of aquarium water far away from any electrical sources. I have also tried disconnecting everything around the controller and probe so there is no electrical interference. This made no difference.
I suspect that I have a defective EX card as the PH and Temperature are working perfectly and I do not use the conductivity.
I posted this on the AquariumComputer website last night, but, i have not gotten a response.
