problem with my skimmer. please help

I have a euroreef rs250 skimmer now for about 1 year or so. the problem is that now I can't turn on my skimmer without it overflowing. the bubbles rise normal but never stop rising to the point that it will overflow the collection cup and fall back into the sump. it never used to do that. I tried cleaning it. it is spotless inside and out and it slowed it down but can't stop overflowing. the water in the collection cup is crystal clear when I turn it off. Anybody have an idea why this is happening.

What additive did you use last on your tank? Have you used any sort of coral glue or adhesive? Is the venturi clogged with salt creep or calcium buildup?

Sounds like a clogged venturi or some type of coral glue. I used an epoxy once and could not run my skimmer for a week. had to do a water change as well.
