Problem with Osmolator

I have a problem with the osmolator.
when the device is plugged in and the water level is dropping,the ''pump on'' orange LED won't turn on and the pump isn't running.
when I disconnected the pump's wires from the controller,the orange LED lit.

What could be the problem?

It should be sent in for repair, this could be just a bad pump, it could be corroded connection or wires to the pump, or a worn out controller component. I would suggest contacting the distributor and see if they offer repair service or sending it directly to the factory in Germany, but please contact them first by phone or info@tunze.com.
