I have both the 4 outlet powerbar (S5-S8) and the 6 outlet digital powerbar (S9 - S15). The four dosing pumps are on S1 - S4.
S5 - S7 are currently used for the three 250w MH ballasts. These are electronic ballasts made by EVC Tech and run about 270w.
Anyway the S7 outlet seems locked in the "on" position. When the controller turns S7 off (via settings in the Illumination control) the corresponding LED light on the strip goes off, but the lamp stays on. I had to unplug it to cut the light tonight.
The outlets used for the other MH ballasts (S5 & S6) are still working fine. The S8 outlet (set to a timer to control the self cleaning head of my skimmer) works fine also.
For now I am going to remap this MH ballast to another outlet... but obviously I need to get this power bar working properly. Is this something I can fix myself or will I need a replacement ?
Seems like a blown fuse would result in the outlet always off, always on seems to indicate there is some other problem.
