Problem With Torch & Bubble Corals

I agree with what others are saying. you need the halides on at least 8 hours a day. I also think you need some increased flow. lps do not need/like as much flow as sps but need a reasonable amount just the same. I have mostly lps in my tank and have two tunze 6101 stream pumps running at 75% with controller.

I'm actually in the process of acclimating the MH lights, since I added them only 2 weeks ago - - I know, I'm slow!

I'm also taking it slow, since I'm trying to postpone the inevitable purchase of a cooling system.

Does anyone have any great suggestions for my 90 gallon?

I have heard that just a small fan blowing across the water surface is sufficent for cooling.. You could try it, it's cheap!
