Problem with Tunze 9015 skimmer

I'm having a problem with my Tunze 9015. The foam will not go up to the reactor cup like it should. The skimmer will produce foam, but not enough to get over the top of the cup. I'm only getting 1/8th of a cup a week. I have a 65 gallon tank that has a heavy bio load. What could be the problem?? With the rep. of Tunze I expected to be able to get a lot more skim and be able to adjust the foam as needed. I can't even get the foam to actually over flow into the cup so I can adjust it. I have the adjustment screw all the way out and still it doesn't over flow into the cup. When I turn the skimmer off, it doesn't start again. I have to disassemble and reassemble the pump to get it to work again. This is VERY fustrating. Help PLEASE!!! Thanks, Trish

If it is less than 2 years old it won't cost anything, it will take me 3 days, in total I think you will be without the skimmer for 2 weeks counting shipping and a weekend in the mix. Typically I find these problems are the cumulation of a few small problems. The most common being a broken venturi, a pump that is a bit dirty and a high sediment load or an assembly issue.
