problem!!!!

Thanks for all the help with this. As of this morning all seems well. Only the actinics are on right now...but no deaths.

I had that happen a few times many years ago and nothing bad happened. The water got cloudy but nothing died.
I'm surprised you even had any grape caulerpa with that yellow tang.
Mine would have eaten it as soon as it was added. All my tangs love grape caulerpa.

Funny thing was it was blocking some of my corals and I was going to take it out. Then I noticed the tang taking bites here and there and decided that it really wasn't harming anything..so I left it in there. I read though that once it does that then it will grow back all over in your tank. That is not true?

Everyone is still happy and nothing (knock on wood) died.

I read that. I would have freaked! :) But again, I want to say thank for the quick replies when I was freaking. You guys are awesome! My xenia is just awesome. Spreading like mad. I would love to get some pom pom stuff or something of a different color. My tank is pretty much all the same color. So if anyone is ever interested and want some of it, let me know. Next time I get that way..I live up in Merrill... I will bring some.

Now normally I would read that and think "what idiot would add kool-aid to their tank?" but I guess I'm it lol.

I knew you guys would never let me forget that lmao.

When my caulerpa did that nothing ever happened but I always had caulerpa growing in them until the tangs ate it all. I don't remember it growing all over after that.
Mine just did that and died and I had to get some new caulerpa as far as I can remember. It was a long time ago.
Now I can't ever keep it in my tanks cuz it gets eaten faster than it can grow. I'm now trying to grow it in my sump to feed them.
