Problems setting profilux longtide and latitude

I was trying to set up the longitude and latitude on my profilux and ran into a problem. I was doing this off my laptop. I thought the coordinates were set fro Germany. So I tried to change them for Wilmington, NC where I live. I was able to change the longitude to 34.2 N but the latitude would only show East. I need to set it up fpr 77.9 West. I hope I did not say the longitude/latitude backwards. Is there a fix for this?

What version of firmware and software are you running?? I just tried it and it work no problem.... I'm using the latest.
 
I am using software version 3.08.1 and firmware 3.08. I see there is a more current version. Maybe my problem will be solved with an upgrade.
 
click on the "W" drop down button and change it to "E"
-> this shouldn't be a problem, has already worked in prior versions.
 
I got it to work. I assumed when you clicked the box both options would appear.

I am using windos XP.
