Prodibio BioKit - Will start on Monday evening

Glassbox,
I take it the Reefbooster is not a replacement for seperate coral food and Amino Acid routines.

I posted that question in SCR to get some answers..sorry for the highjack dobly_1999!! :D

Did you get an answer?

Well, the tank is doing well. I see more of the green stuff on the rocks turning white.

Problem: I have to leave for 2 weeks on business. I will miss a dose.

I have been using PRODIBIO for over a year now and can tell you that it is in fact the real deal. It took a couple months for it to kick in but my tank has never been cleaner. It seems the more I feed the tank, the cleaner it gets. That could be due to bacteria multiplying from the addition Phosphate. Oh and I also throw in a little vinegar into the tank every now and then. It seems to make the skimmer pull up even more crap.

Great product, very simple to use.

Question for you.... How often do you do water changes since you been using prodibio? Also do you dose anything else like amino's?

I'm just using the BioClean but I have also noticed my skimmer pulling out much more gunk now that I'm using Prodibio.

I love Prodibio, after nearly 2 months my PE is off the hook, corals are looking really healthy tank looks clearer. I am dosing Warner AA's every night along with KZ Spongepower and Coral Vitalizer. I also add Reefbooster twice a week, using half a vial each time.

Photobret, may I ask why you dose the AA's every night. I dose Warner's AA's too but not as frequent as you do. Maybe 2x/week.

You know what, I have no idea... My very reputable LFS, (not being sarcastic either) suggested it. Also I went to a talk about keeping large reefs and one of the topics he covered was about feeding in general. In a low nutrient system, he would dose AA's 2 hours before lights out everyday. PE would max out ready for food, he was feeding Pappone 2x a week after AA's but dosed AA's everyday. The only negative impact I have seen is on my wallet :)

Will be cutting back to 4x a week from now on I think....

Water changes are done once a month, 40gl at a time. For Amino acids I add REEFBOOSTER ever two weeks.

I've been using Prodibio for a couple of weeks now and so far the results have been positive. I know other people that have been using it and their results have been very positive as well. I'm curious if anyone has every used it combat a dinoflagelette outbreak.

Update: I have been out of town on business for a week now and one more to go. The report I am getting from home is the skimmer matter is darker and more of the green algae is gone.

I will be home Friday evening and I hope to see positive results.
