Prodibio BioKit - Will start on Monday evening

I plan to start using Prodibio BioKit Monday. I would welcome users of this product to give me some advice.
I have a 90G with 30G sump. Approx 100G water volume.

Start with 1 amp bioptim and 1 amp biodigest for 6 weeks, after that then 1 amp each every 2 weeks and 1 amp of reefbooster weekly.

When dosing turn off the skimmer for a few hours.

are you using these products successfully? did you see significant changes in your tank? how long are you using it and are you still using them? got pics of b4 after?

Tagging along. I will be using the Bioclean kit. I have undetectable NO3 (salifert) and I have 0.03 ppms (seachem) undetectable (ELOS Kit) phosphates. Hopefully this will give me extra low Phosphates. I do have a question. How do we know if our tanks are completely Phosphate free? I mean one kit show phosphates (seachem) the other (ELOS) doesn't. The ELOS kit is brand new and the seachem is a little under a year old. I have a refugium w/ Chaeto and it is not growing anymore. I have been using 2 ml of vodka a day for the past week. I have stopped so I can start w/ the Bioclean next week. I didn't mean to take your thread over sorry. It just kinda came out. I will be tagging along on this and if you don't mind I will be posting along w/ you on the results. If you do mind, I will not.

lilchris, I think its safe to say that we have phosphates in our tanks if we have algae or pale sps colors. We should probably not derail the origional poster's thread though.

I agree. I don't want to take from his thread.

I've been on it for about 2 years, my Phos varies between .10-.20 depending on how much I feed my 100+ fish LOL.
IMHO I can't see much of a difference in color with the rise on P04.

if anyone is really curious if prodibio really works, tag along to this thread cause i know dobly very well and he will definately post good or bad results. he always gets on my case if i don't post anything he wou;ld:D :D

Hehe, I absolutly bookmarked this thread. My problem is that to run Prodibio would cost a fortune due to the size of my main tank (220 gallons). The people on Marine Depot's website that reviewed the products really seem to like it.

I've used prodibio in the past and it worked great on the corals, but I stopped using it because it killed all my macroalgae. I will be using it again on my new 225 setup.

I dont get it. The macro algae died because it had no nutrients to feed off of but it worked great on the corals. Isnt that what its all about :p ? Whats your dosing plan going to be for the 225?

Well, I used to have No3 = 20 ppm....so I started with prodibio...used for 6 months.....didn´t work to me.....my NO3 never was below 20 ppm with prodibio

How much did you dose to begin with? I think you really need to OD it the first 6 weeks like OranguTang said.

my trates went from 15 to 0ppm, going on 3 months now....

ok, I dose one of each of the BioKit. I will follow the directions on the box to dose the tank. I turned off the skimmer for 30 mins. I had to lower the output on the skimmer due to over-flow.
