Prodibio BioKit - Will start on Monday evening

I want to give this a try too and so far my colors have lightened up on some corals. im mainly doing this to remove nuisance algae. im only a month into dosing biodigest and bioptim--- ive also been dosing vodka for over 4 months now but colors improved with prodibio.. i noticed an explosion in coralline though..

If your colors have lightened a bit and you've already been dosing vodka before that, you might want to start adding reefbooster. I noticed some of the same. I also stopped dosing vodka because of the lighter colored corals.

Since this is a big thread, with lots of responses, I am hoping someone maybe able to help me.

Is this truly an "AIO" solution? I mean those that dosed MB7/vodka/Biofuel etc. stopped, and when with BioDigest/BioTIM to reduce N03/P04?

Then ReefBooster/IODI/Stronti+ at the same time?

I'm just trying to figure out how often and when to dose. This product peeks my interest.

Do you continue dosing BioDigest/BioTIM as WELL as the others? MD says:

Every 15 days:
BIO DIGEST Nano: 1 vial up to 40 litres ( 10 gallons )
BIOPTIM Nano: 1 vial up to 40 litres ( 10 gallons )
IODI + Nano: 1 vial up to 40 litres ( 10 gallons )
STRONTI + Nano: 1 vial up to 40 litres ( 10 gallons )

Every week:
REEF Booster Nano: 1 vial / 40 Litres ( 10 gallons ).

STRONGLY SHAKE VIALS BEFORE USE - DISPOSE OF EMPTY VIALS SAFELY KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN

i have been dosing bio digest but there is still cyano coming out at the back of my tank and my prata is going pale .....

i have stopped dosing bio optim and digest and my sps are getting lighter in color

should i be using reef booster ?

Since your sps is pale or lighter it's time to use reefbooster. Turn off your skimmer for about a couple hour when using it.

Thank you,
I know prodibio has a web site , you can do a search and find it.
I do split by carbon dosing weekly instead of adding it all at once.
Ex. I have a 120 g. so one biodigest and one bioptum( instead of two) . The next week I add another bioptum.
I would not use AA or reefbooster if you have slime.
Frank

I've been dosing Prodibio for the last month and half and was wondering what you referring to as "slime". I ask because for the last 3 weeks, I've noticed on the surface of the water there seems to be some kind of mysterious unexplainable "coating" that won't go away. It could be something completely irrelevant to Prodibio but I thought I'd try to narrow down the problems

Hi,
I dont know why you call it another new method?
I didnt read the whole trend, but the box instructions are pretty straight forward. DO NOT over dose the carbon .

What lights are you running in this beutiful tank??

great tank

Im interested in starting prodibio.... I have nice chalices and am dosing KZ amino acid concentrate LPS.... are there any issues with deep sand beds and this product?

Is there a need to run a phosphate reactor while dosing prodibio? I cant really get an answer by reading the thread...... Seems like its a coin flip

Thanks for all the outstanding info in this thread :).

My question is regarding when to start the Prodibio regime. I haven't set up my tank yet, therefore I'm wondering when to start the process when my tank is set up.

Do I start the regime as soon as I fill it, or should I let the tank cycle and then start the regime?

Thanks in advance for your input,
Jamie.
