Prodibio system questions for SPS keepers

I'm interested in trying out Prodibio system in my SPS nano. I'm currently maintaining low nutrition with vinegar dosing via dosing pump, no issue so far except water seems a little hazy.

Prodibio system seems pretty simple to maintain, just dose 1 vial of each product every 2 weeks for the most part. Bio Kit is the package I'm trying to go with which have bacteria source, bacteria food, coral food, iodine and strontium. I will continue to run GAC in TFL reactor, supply CA/ALK with Red Sea ABC+ powder.

Who here is running Prodibio system exclusively without anything other supplement or nutrition reduction method? Is there issue maintaining low nutrition or health of the corals? Do I need to switch to biweekly water change because Prodibio being dosed every two weeks?

Information on Prodibio system seems hard to find, I'm hoping someone here can shed some light on this.

Thanks in advance.

I use Prodibio: specifically BioDigest and Bioptim; ie Bacteria and Carbon source. On my current tank I use it alongside dosing any other bacterial supplement that I happen to find in my LFS.

When I used this combo on my JBJ 28G Nano cube, those two were all I dosed. I think the reason you are getting the cloudy/hazy look is due to overgrowth of bacteria...or maybe your skimmer isnt skimming out properly. You can try and reduce the amount of vinegar you are dosing.

When I used Prodibio on my 28G NC, I only carried out 10% weekly water changes. I had no algae issues at all. Corals were fine; only foods that went into the tank was to feed the fish.

IME the Prodibio system works gently...but very well. Whilst I got hazy water with Vinegar or Vodka dosing, I NEVER experienced that with the Prodibio system. I only used to run a small amount of GFO in the media basket (maybe like 1/10 of a cup or less).

This 28G NC tank was VERY successful in maintaining decent low levels of nutrients such that I had zero algae issues.

I have been using the biodigest and biotim for a year now. I recently stop dosing reef booster bc i started using Triton Elementz, but is still using digest and biotim every 15 days. I dose half the recommended amount to ensure that I wont strip my tank of all nutrients.

I am using macro algae and bacteria as nutrient controls in my tank. I think it is a very great product to use, and it has been working very well for me. I do feed my fish heavily and also feed corals every night. The tank is SPS dominated.

Thank you guys for the information. It's very helpful to get first hand experience on long term results.

I never experienced hazy water with bio pellets in my system. I'm currently dosing ZeoBak and BioMate as bacteria source, I also use Coral Snow which help a little to clean water for the next day. I tried vodka for a few times in the past but it's hard (near impossible) to maintain consistent dosage.

I think I'm going to try after I run out the vinegar.

Thanks again!
