Profilux 2 Light Bar

Problem solved and is now working. Thanks to AQD ottawa. This guy went way above the call of duty working with me on this by way of emails. Excellent Customer Service. Thanks again.

Having problems controlling my tunze 6055's. First I have the outputs set at 3-8 instead of 1-10. Second I have assigned to group one pumps 1&2, and to group two pumps 3&4. At first I could get one pump to run and not the other. I moved the tunze 1 cable into L3&L4 port, then moved tunze 2 cable into L1&L2 port and works fine (Maybe cables are mis-labeled). Set the night mode start at 2100 and go off at 1100 and run at 35%. This morning both pumps are not pumping at all, one is actually trying to run about every min or so but only spins for a couple of seconds and cuts off. Does my program seem right or am I missing something? The light bar is showing 35% output for pumps 1&2 but the pumps are not running. Should I assign Only one group with all 4 pumps assigned even though I am only running 2 pumps?

Tunze 1 reacts to L1 L3 L5 etc
Tunze 2 reacts to L2 L4 L6 etc

If you have T1 plugged into L1 make sure you have set the 1-10V input to current pump 1 and T2 pluged into L3 make sure you have set 1-10V input L3 to current pump 2

To test your cables and pumps go to manual override and ramp up and down the pumps will correspond.

As per my email tech support I advise running both with YL2-1 splitter to reduce programming confusion and also not leaving you with 2 redundant L ports.

I thought that with the 6055's you needed to set the output 3-8 instead of 1-10. Thats what progressive reef told me to do with that particular model? I'm hooked up to the PC and don't see manual over ride. Do I have to this from the light bar?

Does the splitter need to be a GHL type or can I buy this at an electronic store? Also I am assuming I only need 1 splitter.

Now I am having a problem with tunze control. I purchased the splitter, plugged the splitter into L1 and My tunze cables into the splitter (Ihave the Tunze 1 and Tunze 2 cables). Pumps run during the day, weather or not there switching back and forth from 40%-100% and vice versa is hard to tell, bar shows output switching so I assume that they are.. I have them set for 35% on night mode, nothing happens. I hear them trying to run but that's it. Completely stopped. I have my pumps set as Pump1 & Pump 2.

Just had a glitch or something with my unit. There was no output to my tunze pumps and my lights were going crazy, the white led channel. Lights would go to full intensity and then go out after about 3-4 seconds repeatedly. And no I don't have the thunderstorm set. I unplugged the unit and plugged back in and now everything seems fine?

Doing it again. Whites are flashing bright and returning to normal. No cloud, no rainy day or thunderstorm settings? Whats up with this?

if its only the whites then sounds like you have a storm set that you are not aware of, if it was the profilux it would effect all channels. Other than that bad input on the ai side.

next time it does it unplug he input and plug it back in, if it stops its a bad input connection, if not then double check all storm functions.

Please email us for tech support also, if I was not online you would not have got a reply, however email is with me most the time (other than tonight in about 7 minutes!)

No storms set, no rainy days set, and no clouds set. The rest of the lights don't dim like a storm setting. If storm is set then the program went haywire because I don't do any of those fancy options. The unit has been runnig fine for 2-3 weeks and now crazy stuff. You tell me how this happened?

You are telling me I must have the storms set (which I didn't), then explain why when this happened the unit also stop sending output to my Tunze pumps also?
