Profilux Alert if current not detected

Hi,

Is it possible to send an alert if the current of any 'always on' devices drops to 0? i.e if the return pump fails or powerheads stop working?

If anyone has configured this before i would appreciate any pointers.

Thanks

Would be nice if it could give a warning for high power draw also. ie return pump clogged, powerhead with coralline build up.

The problem with the return pump clogged power draw notification is that most pumps decrease in power consumption as the head pressure increases. Because of that, a clogged or clogging return pump wouldn't necessarily result in increased current draw. Counter intuitive I know but that's just the way most pumps operate. That said, it's possible if the pump was completely blocked that there might be a spike in current draw but many pumps have a fail safe feature that will kick them into a overload protection mode.

At the end of the day the Profilux captures the current drawn from each device which is visible in the Interface so i dont see why it can be easily added?

Well i just got a straight NO from GHL.

Strange that as they are already detecting the current (see screen capture).
Also i know this is a feature that APEX has just released in their new model.
