I may take you up on that soon. I've got to start shopping out my old setup and finish the construction/plumbing phase on my 275 so I can get it into cycle. Seeing as i'm targeting mid-february for end of the cycle, i'd say this ought to work out just about right.

Thanks for the updates. Having already seen the dimming abilities of the Profilux already, I can't wait to see them running on my reef!

As for requirements the ProfiLux will basically do everything for you, there will be an interface made (sold sep) that you simply plug your Dali ballast into, same as you do with the 1-10V ballasts right now.

Are icecap ballasts Dali's ? Are VHO's dimmable or is it just T5's that are ?

No IC are not dali, some VHO's are dimmable but the effect is very weak from what we have been told really and require specific controllers.
