Profilux and Lights

Hi,

I am the proud owner of a Profilux II. I use it for pumps, CaRX, ORP, ATO and other timer related functions. However, I am not taking advantage of any of the lighting functions. Is it absolutely necessary to have 1-10v control for the lights in order to use the programs? I have no interest in dimming, but I got a new fixture that combines MH, fluorescents and LED's. I would like to take advantaged of the programs for the different bulb types.

Any thoughts on this?

Hi

No not at all you can use a lot of the functions without dimming

Best to list what you cant do with no diiming

No to

Cloud cover
Cloudy days
Lunar cycling
Sun rise
Sun set

All other functions are available to you

Thanks for the reply. So I can do this even if my lights don't have 1-10v line? Is this done using timers and socket functions? what do I need to buy?

I think you read me wrong the list is what you CAN NOT DO when you do not have dimmable lights, all other functions you can.
