profilux dealers?

is there a list somewhere of profilux dealers and their websites? im having some problems with the place i ordered mine from and im considering cancelling the order and asking for a refund so i want to find other dealers and see who else was out there. im honestlly considering forgetting about profilux altogether over this and finding another controller, but figured id look around first
 
talked to the dealer, they told me if i ordered that night i would have it by friday. so saturday comes and still no package so i send an email asking for tracking info. i get a phone call saying that the website was off on inventory and he sold two units he didnt actually have (one of which was mine) so i will have to wait until sometime between christmas and new years to get it. i dont think i would have been as upset as i am if i would have gotten an immediate phone call or email as soon as they realized there was a problem, and i would have liked them to ship the part of the order that they did have in stock because i ordered other things as well as the package.

they offered me a gift certificate to their livestock section, but at this point i dont know if i want to deal with the headache. and all that gift certificate will do is obligate me to pay another overnight shipping charge
 
if that is all you have to worry about than i would say you are having a good day

everything this month has turned to crap for me your not alone

todd is a good guy but people have bad days
 
Todd is a stand up guy so I would think that it may have just been an oversite.

It is the Christmas season and I'm sure he is busy as heck like the rest of us.
 
i never mentioned todd or any particular store. my point and goal was to have this here by christmas and i was told that it would be here. had i been notified as soon as they had realized that there was a problem, i could have ordered elsewhere and still been able to wrap this in time to put it under the tree.

it was also a major inconvenience in that i work 7pm to 7am and then i usually head off to bed. but since i was expecting a package i sat up all day friday and all day saturday so that the package would not have to sit on my porch in the rain and snow or possibly get stolen. so i gave up two days straight sleep waiting for a package that wasnt ever shipped. sorry but i tend to get a little cranky after 72 hours or so with no sleep
 
Well I am a stand up guy and will give you the EXACT reason it has been delayed being the distributor.

Todds shipment was supposed to leave us on Tuesday but due to insane weather in Ontario mixed with huge late Christmas rushes of Profilux we were unable to ship until thursday night.

The shipment therefore will arrive three days later than planned he should of had it Thursday, so the inventory issue should not have affected your order if all external forces did not dump our freight arrangements out the window.

Unfortunately sometimes external forces come into play that none of use can bargain for or account for and i think Todds gesture of a discount voucher is very kind concidering the issue is not exactly his.

So if you wish to be upset with anyone please email me, I am sorry that it did not come as expected, all the fun of christmas and freight carriers and weather :(

This was all out of Todds control, and i am sure the few extra days wait I hope will be a distant memory when you get your Profilux just after the 25th :) or even maybe the 24th!! (no not guarranteeing that one)
 
I will have a very very limited amount available as the exchange rate for me (my buy in cost) is rising, so if you miss out on this next lot then Yes sorry the price will not be repeated.

Contact him now - seriously!
 
just talked to todd (though i was trying to keep his name and store out of this---i wasnt intending to bash him or start this thread as a gripe) and everything is worked out. i am well aware that not everything can be accounted for, but a call to let me know that there was problems would have been nice.


once again, since this thread got so unbelievably sidetracked, i was not posting here to be inflammatory, but was wanting to know other profilux dealers so i could shop around, i am only aware of 3. however since todd and i have worked things out, forget i asked

Just so everyone knows

Todds next GHL shipment will be shipped between Christmas and new year to keep up with the rush, this shipment will contain the very last of the beginner packs at this price into the USA. I expect Cherry to receive them either just before or just after the new year.

In regards to other dealers, we approached all about doing a Christmas special based on the USD favoured exchange rate it was only Cherry that jumped and bought up every single Plus II beginner pack available.

If you miss out on the ones Cherry are bringing in then you can get the similar prices from canadian stores (or there abouts)

We would love to carry this deal forward and really see the benefit of this price but sadly now our buy in price from Euro to CAD has sky rocketed :(

So the long is above and the short answer is BUY NOW if you want to get this deal!
 
Jason, you will be happy to know that we tracked my order and it is scheduled for delivery to me on Tuesday. I will ship same day.

I don't feel bashed. You just want your controller, nothing wrong with that.

It has been a very busy holiday season, thanks for everyone's continued support.
