Anyone know how to set the Unit to English using the unit and not the PC?

Yes I do !

Press the center round button on the right of the unit

Scroll up to a extras press middle enter key

Then scroll to Sprache

Press press middle enter key

Then scroll to Englisch

Press the middle enter key

then select ja press the middle enter key, you are now in english

Thanks Michael I got it, I also got it connected to the WLAN. Can you do firmare updates over the WLAN or is it recomended to do them by hardwire?

Don't do firmware updates with wlan! As I mentionned with downloading measurement data (probe data) from the Profilux, you'll discover that wireless is too finicky for this kind of thing and it will fail.

It's not finicky for normal activity -- just for large file/activity transfers.

So plug it in for the big stuff.
