Can someone please give me the name of a Profilux retailer that I can actually talk to. It seems that no-one can answer their phone or return phone calls.

Todd Cherry called me Sunday, I tried to return his call but it's an answering machine one day & a Fax the next, so I call the # listed on the WS and its "not in service"

I sent out various e-mails trying to get info & a price on this product and Todd is the only one that has responded.
I know Michael is good at customer service here, but what good is that if I can't even buy one.

I won't even repeat what a previous retailer said- (bitter, maybe?)

I'm just aggravated, This looks like a really nice/functional product that would work well with my setup. I would like to possibly buy one. I'm having second thoughts now.

I'm torn..

I can get the AC3 w/ DC8, ORP, PH, Temp, Aquasurf, Aquanotes & 4 LED lunar sim for $625. (I've got a hookup)

The Profilux Advance w/ Light bar, Tunze cable, & y splitter is around $925 with the 10% discount.

I'm so frustrated.. I know the Profilux is a better product overall but they will basically do the same things.. right?

I wouldn't say they do the same things. The Profilux Temp probes don't go bad like the AC3 temp probes. Just head over to the neptune forums and see for yourself.

The Profilux has the SMS and Chiller option which the AC3 does not. It also has full control of either the Tunze Stream or Wavebox. If you want the lunar sim, get a Simu-Light stick or spot light and it will surely beat the Neptune 4 led lunar sim.

I should also add that the Profilux offers ATO, AWC, and Dosing Pump options.

IMO, the customer service you get here is way better than the Neptune service.

The choice is yours, make the right one.

Your points above reefrocker actually really highlight what is so good about the profiLux, yes OK it may on the outside look a bit more pricey but when you break down the functionality you are getting it soon becomes very apparent to get close to this with other makes you will be exceeding this initial cost.

Take for example the Tunze control, the ProfiLux can control 8 Tunzes! How much is two Tunze stream controllers? $600++?
