Profilux Salve Doser

I'm I to understand that by hooking up a Profilux Slave doser I will use up 4 slots on my digital power bar even though I have nothing pluged into them? That is because the Doser needs those slots?
The only way I can make it work is by dedicating S5,S6,S7 for dosing. Why can't I just use S6 ( I'm using a standard 6 plug digital power bar). Am I missing something? The instructions for the Slave Doser are extremly vague.
If this is the case I should have bought SA unit.

Step by step hooking up the Slave unit would be great! thanks!

Help is here - You have it set up incorrect.

You cant assign S1 through to S6 to the doser becuase you have a 6 socket digital power bar and these sockets are already assigned to it.

So for example if you have a 4 pump slave doser you would plug this into the other jack on the digital power bar (once you have programed it) and this would become S7-S10.

To program the doser -

Unplug digital power bar from S1S4

Plug in doser data cable to S1S4 with power applied to doser and data cable also plugged into doser. (all cables are supplied with the doser)

Go to socket outlet function in ProfiLuxcontrol

Click on Program digital power bar/doser

Select doser

Set the first socket/pump to 7 the software will fill the rest in for you

follow the on screen steps

save these changes

Unplug doser data cable from S1S4

Plug digital power bar data cable back into S1S4

Plug data cable from doser into spare western socket on digital power bar

Doser will now react to S7-S10.

Important note - always use indpendant wall socket to power the doser not a 110V socket on the digital power bar!

The only way it will not is if you miss something from the instructions..
