Profilux Stand Alone Doser w/Controller - Display Problem

I bought this unit almost a year ago and it's worked perfectly the whole time.

I recently disconnected it, removed it from the tank, plugged it back in and the display was garbled. Over the past few weeks it's become much better but still is a bit garbled. Any idea what could've happened?

The first thing that came to my mind was water damage, but it was mounted at the top of the stand with the other electronics, with no sump below, pipes, saltcreep or anything. The unit looks literally brand new.

Any ideas?

could it be in a hot area? My car sterio started doing that last week with the hot weather we where having....

Nah, always cool. The inside of the stand was even vented outside via a powered fan.

I have the exact same issue. My doser is outside the stand in its own seperate cabinet with no water anywhere around it.
