programming second digital bar

Ok I have 1-6 used on my first bar and want to connect another 6 way digital bar I have. How do I go about doing it? Also I have an optical level sensor and wanting to program that into the second bar socket 7. Any help would be great.

disconnect the first orginal powerbar, connect the new one (only the new one, and no doser)

go to : System > Socket Function >Program Digital Powerbar or Dosing Pump Unit
Select Numbering of a Digital powerbar > next
star the count at 7

reconnect the previous powerbar, the attach the new power bar to the old one and asigne the new pumps/lamp to S7-S12

For the level just connnect to spare port and program

Ok do you connect the second power bar into the S1-S4 spot to program it or into the S5-S8? Also when its programmed do you connect it to S5-S8 or use the supplied wire and link them together with the first power bar going into the S1-S4 spot?

You can only program through S1S4 do not ever plug a digital power bar in anywhere else.

S5S8 is for analogue bars only

ok thats what I wanted to confirm.. I have 3 level spots so going to use level 1-2 and see if I can get it to work.

ok programmed the other bar and set socket 7 to water 1. Then went into level and set level 1 to auto top off. So is this good to go? Will the pump turn off when it touches the optical and then kick on when it doesn't? The max the pump will run is 1 min also. I need to get a check valve as when I tested it I noticed the pump started a very weak syphon that did not stop when the pump was unplugged.

My digital power bar comes with a cable that goes into PAB - do I need another cable to go into S1-4?

If you have P3 then you can use PAB cable, no need for other one
