Progressing! Slowly but surely

I don't know your skimmer but you should be able to make adjustments. All skimmers have a depth they suggest like 6-8". Make sure yours is not too deep. Where the water goes out open the valve all the way that will set your water hieght. I think there is another adjust for air going into skimmer pump on top of the silencer.

On your skimmer does the red riser tube turn so you can adjust the water level in the skimmer? There should be a valve of some sort that turns to adjust the water level in the chamber of skimmer. If you turn it clockwise it will allow more water in chamber and then when mixed with the air will create what I see in that video. If you turn counter clockwise it will lower the water level in chamber. The water level should be less then where the neck meets collection cup.

Have you looked at some utube videos on how to adjust skimmer?
7.5" depth is a little deep from what I saw. They were saying like 6" so try it there.

Hey, just following up on this. Skimmer is running well, it really was finicky at the start. Now having some issues maintaining.... rodi filters causing high phosphatase bc theyre worn out. About to order replacements. If anyone in the valley needs to place an order let me know. Save some money on shipping if you cant hit minimums :)
